How it started

I joined Tegeta to redesign its online store. Early interviews and usability testing revealed that the problem went far beyond the interface.

Users struggled to find compatible parts, moved between disconnected products to purchase and book installation, and had no shared account across the ecosystem. The B2B platform had a similar problem: it looked like a retail store, but businesses actually worked through contracts, approvals, invoices and fleet operations.

What began as a retail redesign became a broader structural challenge.

The brief was a shop redesign. What the business actually needed was structural continuity the same customer, the same account, one connected experience from part discovery to installation.

My role

I joined as the senior product designer responsible for the retail redesign. After research exposed problems across the wider ecosystem, I expanded the scope and led the structural redesign across retail, B2B, service reservation, information architecture and the shared design system.

Complex organizations don't need better screens they need better structure. This transformation shifted Tegeta from a fragmented digital initiative into a coherent ecosystem designed for long-term scalability. Structure was the design decision. Everything else followed from it.
